Soon Christmas

Wow, I can't believe it's Christmas in five days.The weeks has passed by so quickly. I passed my exam (yey) and now I'm off school until the 8th of january, I'm going to work some next week but other than that I'm done. I guess I have to study a little bit during holiday, but I'm gonna try just to relax and eat A LOT! :)

Done with my exam :)

I just handed in my "home"exam and I feel relieved! Don't know how it's gonna go, but I'm pretty sure I'll pass (as always!).

Todays update

I don't get it! I don't have a fever, I don't feel sick, but it feels as if I have some kind of infection in my throat :(. I can barley speak, my throat hurts and I cough up a lot of phlegm (I know it's too much information, but I don't care!)

I worked at Löftet (preschool) today and I also had my smallgroup here this evening (four christians and four non-christians) I love my group :D

I got the highest grade on my last exam which is amazing concerning that I only had time to study two days before the test(had my exam the same week as I came home from Gabby). God is great!

Am I going to die?

On my way back home at the domestic flight between Pittsburgh and New York I honestly thought I was going to die (till I remembered I'm not supposed to die yet). We went through some really bad airpockets and at one point we were all lifted up from our seats and it felt exactly as if you rode "freefall" at an amusement park. Everyone started screaming and one of the flight attendants hit her head and fainted. Before the occurrency we had just had our refreshments; which made all the cups fly up into the ceiling. Yah, I do not want to experience that again!

First week at uni is done and so far I’ve survived. The first course I’m taking is called “The roots of Christianity” and it’s pretty much the same as Old and New Testament survey, which is good for me since I’m going to miss out half of the class when I’m going to Gaby!

Well back to Betapet, my new addiction :)

Back to my roots

I'm renting out my flat till I'm going to Usa. At the moment I'm staying at my folks house, my brother and Bella are also staying here until they are able to move in to their new apartment. So all my siblings and I are staying in my parental home for a month. Yey, what a great gathering :)

Summer

For the first time in 6 years I've been off work/school for four weeks straight.

This is what I've done:

*Hanged out in our summerhouse(aka =been at Lappis, done nothing,slept and gone horsebackriding)

*Shopped in Stockholm with Bella

*Been to Grönalund (an amusement park)

*Visited my cousins in Uppsala and Sundsvall

*Met some friends in Stockholm/Uppsala

*Been to Hillsong Stockholm and the Word of Life Europe Conference in Uppsala

I must say I’ve had a great summer even though the weather has not been delightful.

Tomorrow I’ll start work again and I am actually looking forward to it :)

Theology

This coming fall I will be study Theology full time at the uni here in Umeå :)

Yesterday was a good day....

We only had 4 kids at work, at the forenoon I planted flowers, we had a bbq and ate outside. I do not remember what I did at the afternoon, probably not that much and 2.30 ish I went home. Those chill days makes work worth going to the days it’s too much to do and the kids are crying/ fighting all the time.

About two weeks ago I got a cousin called Theo :). I’ll show you some pics eventually. Tonight I’m going to Ö-vik where Michael W.Smith is having a concert. Next Friday I’ll have some HILC-friends coming to visit me...wohoo!

Back to life, back to reality

Apparently the sun is shining and it’s warm outside. I’m getting a cold and my head hurts like crazy so I’m staying inside today :(

It’s been a week since I came back from Minsk where I went with one of my pastors on a mission-trip. I had a great and challenging time there. I preached, served, got served, went to an orphan home, made some new friends and so much more (I can’t bother going in to details).

This past week I’ve been sharing flat with my brother’s girlfriend Bella. Emil is on a Europe tour with Zonaria so I’m keeping Bella company. I’ve got an offer to continue to work for another year at the preschool centre I’m at but I haven’t decided whether I want to study or work this coming fall.Period.

New plan

This is my newest plan.
At the moment I am studying part time and working full time. The coming fall I'm going to study Theology full time for a year and fall 2010 I want to attend London School of Theology to do a BA-degree. Hahaha, I wonder if that's ever gonna happen but it would be soooo fun and challenging. Just have to pray about it...oh, God! :P

24 hrs in Umgransele

There’s a special way of communicating on the roads in the midland. Here is a lesson for all you non-Norrlanders out there:
If someone gives you a blink or two with their full-beam it means that there are reindeers on the road ahead and if you see a lot of black plastic bags on both sides of the road you can be sure of meeting a heard of reindeers in the middle of the road. If beeping the horn doesn’t make them go off the road you might have to open the window and bark like a dog, if that doesn’t work either…just be creative.

A great week

What a fun week this has been.
*I’ve been to Credo a Christian gathering at the university for the first time and I ended up interpreting for four people (exchange students), three from Ireland and one from Australia (Wollongong). I had so much fun!
*Jacob and Clara has been here and fixed my router, well I don’t know if Clara should get any credit for fixing it but she was here keeping company, fair enough...
*We have so much snow here at the moment and it is cold too.
*I’m also getting into study although I have a hard time concentrating; luckily it’s not too difficult.
*My job is going well and I’ll probably start working full time again in March.
*I’m going to Belarus in April with my second Pastor, I don’t exactly know what I am supposed to do…preaching? Lead worship? Just praying? It’s going to be a challenge for sure but also fun and instructive.
* I wanna move to Stockholm and attend Hillsong Church!
That’s all from me, I honestly don’t know what more to write.

Stockholm

Waaah, I had such a great time in sthlm with my Hilc friends. We didn’t do much, mostly we just talked and were so unbelievable flipped-out (in a good way). Starting a new year with them was awesome!(Next NYe in Oslo, with even more ppl!) Overall I’m pretty excited for this year; I believe God has great things in store for me even though I haven’t seen them yet. I’m also pumped that I start my studies (part time) at uni next week, even happier that I’m able to work at the same time.
